Precautions before taking Irbesartan

The product is not recommended in early pregnancy and should certainly not be taken during the last six months of pregnancy, unless the doctor considers that the benefits outweigh the dangers in the particular circumstances. It is not considered safe to take irbesartan while breastfeeding as it is not known whether the substance passes into breast milk. Irbesartan is not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years.
